Proof & Transparency

What Scorch can show you about packs, cards and giveaways — and, just as plainly, what is not published yet.

What you can verify

For every pack you open, you can see what was committed for it and when: its contents commitment, the configuration version it was drawn under, and the public randomness round it used. That record is on the pack’s Pack details page, reached from the pack itself.

You can also see how many of each parallel design can ever exist, below.

How pack commitments work

When a pack is paid for, Scorch records which future round of a public randomness beacon it will use — a round produced on a fixed schedule by the League of Entropy, not by Scorch — and stores a fingerprint of that record. When the round arrives, the pack’s contents follow from it, and they are committed before the pack can be opened.

Opening a pack presents that committed result. The reveal does not choose it and cannot change it.

Card supply and pull rates

Base cards are open edition: no cap and no serial number. Parallels are serial-numbered, and each design’s edition size is fixed when the series is created:

  • Rare30 designs, each numbered to 30
  • Epic12 designs, each numbered to 25
  • Legend6 designs, each numbered to 20
  • Ignition10 designs, each numbered to 11

When a pack is listed for sale, its page shows the parallel supply recorded for its series.

Pull rates

Pull rates are not published yet. When they are, they will be calculated from the cards actually remaining — never typed in as a fixed figure — and shown beside the counts they come from.

  • The Genesis card list is not final yet.
  • This page does not yet read live inventory, and a rate is only shown from it.

Giveaway draw proof

No draw records are published here yet. Each giveaway’s Official Rules say how its winners are drawn.

Current limitations

Some parts of independent verification are still being completed.

Re-checking a pack independently needs two things Scorch does not publish yet: the exact bytes its commitments are taken over, and the list of units it was drawn from. Until both are published, a pack’s record can be checked against Scorch’s records, not by an outside party. We do not describe packs as independently verifiable today.
